Something functional for a change, a theme for IRCCloud. Lots of work to be done, the frontend developer for the site is planning a rewrite of some of the CSS, so I might wait for that to happen before proceeding.

So It’s taken a while to get my Aspire Revo set up as a home theatre pc. The machine came with the rather lackluster “Linpus Linux” preinstalled. It didn’t support the onboard wifi or hdmi sound which seems downright sinful for a preinstalled OS. I tried to install windows 7 from a USB hard drive but didn’t have much luck. I have been buying things.
On Friday I ordered a Gretsch Catalina shell pack in dark walnut and Gibraltar 6600 hardware. On Sunday I bought a second hand 20” Istanbul ride cymbal and some Sabian HHX evolution hats. Sunday night I ordered an Acer Aspire Revo 3610 nettop to run as a HTPC. Today I ordered an external DVD writer. I like buying things. I need a job really :/

Steam for Mac on an external drive
Just installed Steam for Mac. Had to do a bit of messing around to get it to use my external drive as a data store… here’s the steps I took: Moved the library steam created from ~/Library/Application Support/Steam to /Volumes/external/Games/Steam Library.
